Shootout 2026 Race Days: Your Shore-Side Transportation Checklist

Keep the land portion of Shootout weekend organized with the correct destination, an agreed meeting point, and a clear plan after race viewing.

Race weekend plans can involve a boat, a rental house, a restaurant, and friends coming from three directions. Before adding transportation, decide which part of the day happens on land. That is the itinerary a road vehicle can actually serve.

The official Shootout 38 race-days page listed August 29–30, 2026, with race headquarters at Dog Days, 1232 Jeffries Road in Osage Beach. Use the organizer's event information rather than copying an older year's venue details into a reservation.

Separate race viewing from your loading location

Race headquarters, your viewing location, and a suitable vehicle meeting point aren't automatically the same place. Confirm where your group will be on land and discuss an appropriate loading point before the trip. If boat transportation is involved, coordinate that separately with its provider.

Tell Lake Ride Pros whether you need a morning transfer, a return after viewing, or additional dinner transportation. Include every address and headcount. Don't assume one service window includes all-day waiting or that a vehicle will be available whenever a boat returns.

Keep the return plan in everyone's pocket

Choose one person to coordinate transportation, then share the meeting instructions with the group. Decide what happens if a friend leaves early or a boat plan changes. Contact the team about itinerary changes rather than treating a new address or departure time as automatically confirmed.

Pack with the road transfer in mind. Coolers, chairs, overnight bags, and boating gear can affect the vehicle conversation. Mention them alongside passenger count, and ask about any boarding or access needs before confirming service.

Don't turn dinner into a surprise extra stop

If you're planning a restaurant visit after the races, include it when requesting the quote and make the dining reservation independently. Allow time for the group to gather and reach the loading location. A tightly packed schedule has little room for the ordinary delays of a full day out.

Send Lake Ride Pros your race-weekend itinerary. We'll discuss the road transportation portion and confirm availability and pricing. Event schedules and access rules remain with the organizer; transportation does not imply Shootout affiliation, admission, reserved viewing, or guaranteed traffic conditions.
