A day of waterfront stops needs two kinds of planning: how you'll move on the water and how you'll get to and from the boat. Don't let the second part become an unconfirmed ride request after the day is already over.
The official Fall Harbor Hop page listed Saturday, October 10, for the 2026 event, with participating locations around Lake of the Ozarks. Check the organizer's current dealer map and rules for event participation. A road transportation itinerary is separate from completing the event's stops and requirements.
Identify your land-and-water handoff
Choose where you will meet the boat and where you expect to come ashore at the end. If those are different properties, include both street addresses in the transportation request. A mile marker helps with the water route, but a driver still needs the road entrance and a suitable loading point.
Confirm property access with the marina or business. Don't assume the driver can use a dockside service lane, stay in a restricted parking area, or wait indefinitely while the group finishes on the water. Discuss the actual service window before confirming your ride.
Put the return in the plan before departure
Agree on a pickup time that allows for gathering passengers and belongings. Appoint a contact who can communicate changes, and make sure everyone knows the meeting place. If weather or boating plans affect the schedule, contact the transportation team promptly and have revisions confirmed.
Tell us what will travel in the vehicle. Coolers, wet gear, bags, and extra layers can matter as much as headcount. Check arrangements for bulky items rather than assuming everything that fit on the boat will fit in the road vehicle.
Keep dinner and lodging addresses explicit
If the group wants a restaurant stop before returning to a rental house, request it up front. If guests are staying at multiple properties, list every final destination. Don't promise an extra ride to friends before the capacity and route are confirmed.
Our dock pickup guide covers common land connections. Contact Lake Ride Pros with your road itinerary. Boating, event participation, and venue access remain separate arrangements; no Harbor Hop affiliation is implied.
