Versailles Apple Festival 2026: Plan the Route, Leave Room for the Pie

An easy-to-follow group plan for the Olde Tyme Apple Festival in Versailles, including arrival priorities, a shared meeting point, and the ride back.

The best festival itinerary leaves room for unplanned discoveries: a booth somebody wants to browse, a snack that turns into lunch, or a performance the kids want to watch. The transportation plan should be clear enough that nobody has to spend that time figuring out how to get back to the house.

The Versailles Area Chamber's 2026 Apple Festival schedule placed the main festival weekend on October 3–4. Its published schedule listed Saturday vendor hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday vendor hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the Saturday parade at 10 a.m. Refer to the organizer for changes and future editions.

Pick the day that matches the outing

Choose your arrival around the activity your group actually wants to see. A parade-focused morning needs a different plan from a relaxed afternoon of browsing. Don't assume the two days have identical hours or the same sequence of activities.

Collect the complete pickup address at your Lake property, and include the passenger count for everyone joining the ride. If relatives are meeting you in Versailles, make sure they know whether they are included in the return trip. A casual invitation to ride home can change the vehicle requirement.

Plan for purchases and people

Tell the team about strollers, mobility equipment, and anything bulky you expect to bring. An event day can end with more bags than it started with. Confirm space and loading needs in advance rather than relying on a vehicle's seating capacity alone.

Discuss an appropriate meeting area outside restricted or busy event access. Choose one transportation contact, share the return time, and decide how the group will reconnect if people split up to browse. Give everyone time to reach the pickup without rushing.

Keep the road itinerary distinct from the event schedule

Transportation can connect your lodging and the outing, but it doesn't include event admission where applicable, restaurant bookings, or special access through parade areas. If dinner or another stop is part of the day, include it in your quote request.

Contact Lake Ride Pros to discuss a private group trip. Use the Chamber's schedule for the festival itself and your confirmed reservation for the ride details.
